Traditional cuisine from La Gruyère

Served in the main canteen from 11 am to 9 pm, l'assiette fribourgeoise is a staple of the Désalpe in Charmey. It contains Borne's ham, smoked bacon, sausage, boiled potatoes and braised cabbage. For the dessert, why not try the authentic meringues with their double cream?

All over the village, local companies and shopkeepers are holding food and drink stands from 8.00 am.

The traditional Vacherin fondue is served by the Vacherin Fribourgeois in the canteen opposite the Petit Plan colony.
